For Veterinarians

How Does This Work?

Any cancer is an appropriate oncology referral. We will use records you provide to have a telehealth discussion with your client. Our goal will be to empower them with information and options. This may include discussing appropriateness of surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, or palliative care.

After the consult we will provide you with a written summary of the options we discussed and potential next steps. If the owners elect to pursue a treatment or advanced diagnostics with MVCC, we will meet them in our mobile rig when we are in your community (see locations). If referral to another specialist is needed (ex. a surgeon), we will work with you to identify the best option for you and your client.

We will always honor a VCPR and Washington Law. No prescriptions or treatments will be provided without a physical exam by an MVCC veterinarian.

Our Commitment

We want to do things differently at MVCC. Our priority is quality of life. We deliver telehealth consults to owners and pets where they are comfortable. After the telehealth consult, we can guide you in providing diagnostics or treatment at your practice. If our specialty diagnostics or treatment services are needed, we will meet your client when we are in your service area. We will also keep you updated every step of the way! We are excited to be your true partner in cancer care.
